Exhibiting at Morial Convention Center
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center runs along Convention Center Boulevard on the Mississippi riverfront in the Warehouse District, within walking distance of the French Quarter. The New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority operates the building, and official messaging cites 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space, billed as America's largest contiguous-space exhibit hall. Halls B through J, divided into 12 separate but combinable halls, plus the Great Hall sit on one long level, along with 140 meeting rooms and the 4,000-seat New Orleans Theater.
Because the building is so long, the hall and lobby nearest your booth shape everything from staff parking to where freight reaches the docks on the Tchoupitoulas Street side. More than 7,300 hotel rooms sit within a five-minute walk, and a 7.5-acre pedestrian park and transportation center, completed in November 2020, fronts the building. NOLA ChristmasFest uses Halls G through I over the holidays. Utilities here are in-house, so your power and internet orders go to the center itself.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.
Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- Electrical, plumbing and telecommunications are exclusive in-house services at the MCCNO, ordered through the Exhibitor Services Online Portal rather than your general service contractor.
- MCCNO Technology Services builds custom exhibitor and event networks over a fully redundant fiber backbone that can burst to 10 Gbps.
- We found no published MCCNO rule against exhibitor hotspots, but internet and Wi-Fi are exclusive to the center and your show can set its own wireless rules, so check the exhibitor manual.
- The free MCCNOFREEWIFI network covers public areas. For demos and payments, order wired or dedicated service; our displays and laptops plug into the in-house power you order, and lead capture iPads can store scans offline.
Move-in and delivery
- Freight moves through docks along the back of the halls on the Tchoupitoulas Street side, and the official floor plan PDFs mark where they are.
- Dock counts and marshalling yard details are not published, so rely on your general service contractor's instructions; show management and the GSC set every schedule.
- We deliver for your move-in dates and route to the dock nearest your hall. Add ConventionVendor.com to the exhibitor-appointed contractor form if your show requires one.
What exhibitors rent at Morial Convention Center
- Booth Tech Kits: Lead Capture iPads, Screens, and Charging: iPads with offline lead capture keep working in the booth when free Wi-Fi is limited to public areas.
- Booth TVs, Monitors, and Video Walls: Displays plug into the in-house power you order from the MCCNO, so tell us your hall and we size screens to the booth.
- Show Office and Breakout Room Technology: In a building this long, show offices benefit from laptops, printers and two-way radios that keep teams in touch across halls.
Before you exhibit at Morial Convention Center
- Work out which hall and lobby your booth is nearest before the show, and plan staff routes and parking around it.
- Order power, plumbing and internet from the MCCNO portal, not the decorator.
- The UPS Store in Lobby F handles last-minute printing and shipping.
- Lighting, audio, video and rigging come from the center's in-house production team, so contact the MCCNO early about hanging signs.
- Use the free public-area Wi-Fi for email only; anything customer-facing in the booth deserves an ordered connection.
Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.
Morial Convention Center FAQ
Who provides booth power at the Morial Convention Center?
Electrical is an in-house, exclusive MCCNO service, along with plumbing and telecommunications. Exhibitors order it through the MCCNO Exhibitor Services Online Portal rather than the decorator. Check your exhibitor kit for deadlines.
How do I get booth internet at the Morial Convention Center?
Internet, Wi-Fi and telecom are exclusive in-house services, so you order wired or dedicated service from MCCNO Technology Services through the online exhibitor portal. The free MCCNOFREEWIFI network covers public areas and is not a substitute for a booth connection.
Can you deliver booth equipment to the Morial Convention Center?
Yes. We schedule delivery for your move-in dates and follow your general service contractor's freight instructions, since docks run along the Tchoupitoulas Street side of the building. If your show requires an exhibitor-appointed contractor form, list us on it.
