Las Vegas Convention Center: booth rentals and exhibitor notes

Four halls on a roughly 200-acre campus east of the Strip, with Cox Business as the exclusive telecom provider and booth power ordered through each show's contractor.

At a glance

At the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth internet comes from Cox Business, the exclusive telecom provider, booth power is ordered through your show's official service contractor, and the building will not accept packages addressed to it. ConventionVendor.com rents iPads, booth TVs, kiosks, and registration gear delivered for move-in at any of the four halls, timed to your show's schedule.

Exhibiting at Las Vegas Convention Center

The Las Vegas Convention Center is a four-hall campus (North, Central, South, and West) on roughly 200 acres just east of the Las Vegas Strip, owned and operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The West Hall opened in 2021 near Las Vegas Boulevard, and a renovation of the original North, Central, and South Halls, including a new interior concourse linking North and South, was reported complete in December 2025. The free underground Vegas Loop connects the halls, and the campus has its own Las Vegas Monorail station. Know which hall your booth is in before you plan deliveries, because the distances between halls are real.

CES, NAB Show, the SEMA Show, and the triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG all fill these halls, so move-in weeks are busy and tightly scheduled by each show's contractor. The convention center does not receive shipments for exhibitors; the official service contractor handles all shipping and receiving. Booth internet is a Cox Business product, and the free guest Wi-Fi does not reach exhibit floors. Larger exhibits also face a plan review: single-level booths over 1,000 square feet and every multilevel booth need approval from the LVCVA Safety and Fire Prevention Office.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.

Power, internet, and Wi-Fi

  • Booth power is not a venue-exclusive service here: electrical floor distribution is handled by your show's official service contractor, so the provider and order form change from show to show.
  • Cox Business is the LVCVA's exclusive full-service telecommunications provider, selling wired internet packages and localized Wi-Fi hotspot packages for booths, plus a paid convention Wi-Fi network for mobile devices.
  • We found no official LVCVA rule banning exhibitor-provided hotspots or access points, but the free guest Wi-Fi does not cover exhibit floors and individual shows may publish their own wireless rules, so read your exhibitor kit before counting on a personal hotspot.
  • Order a wired Cox line for anything that must stay online, such as demos or payment. Our tablets, laptops, and displays plug into the power you order from the show contractor, and we can set up lead capture iPads to keep working offline when your app supports it.

Move-in and delivery

  • The convention center does not accept shipments for show management or exhibitors; everything moves through the show's official service contractor, either via its advance warehouse or direct to show site as your exhibitor kit directs.
  • Every hall has numbered freight doors and roll-up doors, and the West Hall has loading docks on its east and west sides. Freight must stay three feet from brick, block, and masonry walls.
  • Move-in, move-out, and targeted freight schedules are set by show management and the general service contractor, not by the venue.
  • We time delivery of your rented equipment to your show's move-in window, and if your show requires an exhibitor-appointed contractor form, list us on it before the deadline.

What exhibitors rent at Las Vegas Convention Center

Before you exhibit at Las Vegas Convention Center

  • Ride the free Vegas Loop between the West, Central, and South stations rather than walking the campus with equipment cases.
  • Order booth internet from Cox Business ahead of the show; there is no free Wi-Fi on the exhibit floor to fall back on.
  • Never ship cartons to the convention center address itself. Use the routing labels in your exhibitor kit for the service contractor.
  • Planning a booth over 1,000 square feet or a two-story exhibit? Submit plans early for LVCVA Safety and Fire Prevention Office approval.
  • Four FedEx Office business centers on campus (Central Hall entrance, Central Hall Concourse, South Hall Lobby, and West Hall across from W2) can handle last-minute printing and shipping.

Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.

Las Vegas Convention Center FAQ

Who provides internet at the Las Vegas Convention Center?

Cox Business is the exclusive telecommunications provider, selling wired internet and booth Wi-Fi hotspot packages. The free guest network covers lobbies, common areas, and meeting rooms but not exhibit floors. Order through Cox before the show and check your exhibitor manual for any show-specific wireless rules.

How do I order booth power at the Las Vegas Convention Center?

Electrical is not a venue-exclusive service here. Your show's official service contractor handles floor electrical distribution, so the order form is in your exhibitor kit and the provider varies by show. Our rented equipment plugs into the outlet you order.

Can I ship booth equipment directly to the Las Vegas Convention Center?

No. The building does not accept shipments for exhibitors or show management, so freight goes through the show's official service contractor, either to its advance warehouse or direct to show site. Equipment you rent from us arrives on your show's move-in schedule, and we can be listed on an exhibitor-appointed contractor form if your show requires one.
