Orange County Convention Center: booth rentals and exhibitor notes
Orlando's two-building campus on International Drive, with in-house electrical, Smart City internet, and more than two million square feet of exhibit space.
At a glance
At the Orange County Convention Center, the OCCC itself is the exclusive provider of booth electrical, and Smart City Networks is the exclusive internet provider, whose contract prohibits unauthorized wireless devices and access points. ConventionVendor.com rents booth TVs, iPads, kiosks, and registration equipment delivered for move-in at the West or North-South Building.
Exhibiting at Orange County Convention Center
The Orange County Convention Center has two main buildings facing each other across International Drive in Orlando's tourist corridor, the West Building and the North-South Building, with about 7,380 hotel rooms within walking distance by Orange County's count. Together they hold 2,053,820 square feet of exhibit space, 74 meeting rooms, the 62,182 square foot Valencia Ballroom, and the 2,643-seat Linda W. Chapin Theater. The Phase 5A Grand Concourse expansion of the North-South Building, which broke ground in December 2025, will add a 100,000 square foot ballroom and more meeting space.
IAAPA Expo and the PGA Show are among the shows that fill these halls. The OCCC handles more in-house than most venues: it is the exclusive provider of electricity, aerial rigging and lighting, water, plumbing, compressed air, and gas, and initial orders are placed online through its Exhibitor Services portal. Each building has its own dock complex, so your show's building decides where freight and deliveries arrive. Construction has closed Convention Way along the North-South Building since February 2026, which can change routing.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.
Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- The OCCC is the exclusive provider of electricity to exhibitors; place your initial order online through OCCC Exhibitor Services, not through your GSC.
- Smart City Networks is the exclusive provider of all voice, wired, and wireless services, including shared 5 GHz Exhibitor Internet, dedicated wired lines, and custom booth wireless networks.
- Smart City's 2025 OCCC exhibitor contract prohibits wireless devices and access points it has not authorized; exhibitors showing wireless products must contact Smart City 21 days before move-in, and access points without adjustable power output cannot be approved. Personal cellular hotspots are not specifically addressed.
- The free OCCC Free Wifi network covers public spaces and meeting rooms, not the exhibit floor, and Smart City advises against wireless for mission-critical demos. Put demo laptops on a dedicated wired line; our equipment plugs into the OCCC power you order, and lead capture iPads can work offline when your app supports it.
Move-in and delivery
- The campus has 174 loading dock slips: 97 at the West Building and 77 at the North-South Building.
- Some OCCC shows have required carriers and exhibitors in personal vehicles to check in at a show-designated marshalling yard first, and the yard location varies by show.
- Dock assignments, marshalling rules, and move-in and move-out times are set by show management and the GSC, so follow your exhibitor kit.
- We plan delivery of your rentals around your show's building and move-in schedule, and we can be listed on an exhibitor-appointed contractor form when your show requires it.
What exhibitors rent at Orange County Convention Center
- Booth Tech Kits: Lead Capture iPads, Screens, and Charging: Lead capture iPads with offline scanning cover you on a show floor where free Wi-Fi does not reach and personal wireless gear needs Smart City approval.
- Booth TVs, Monitors, and Video Walls: Floor-stand displays plug into OCCC-supplied power; anything hung overhead goes through the OCCC's exclusive rigging department.
- Registration, Check-In, and Badge Printing: Planners running registration across a two-building campus may need check-in stations in more than one concourse.
- Show Wi-Fi, Hotspots, and Connectivity: Useful for International Drive hotel suites and off-site events; on the OCCC floor, unauthorized wireless devices are prohibited.
Before you exhibit at Orange County Convention Center
- Confirm whether your show is in the West Building or the North-South Building before booking hotels or arranging deliveries; they sit on opposite sides of International Drive.
- Order electrical, water, air, gas, and aerial rigging through OCCC Exhibitor Services rather than your GSC.
- Planning to demo a wireless product? Contact Smart City at least 21 days before move-in for network approval.
- Exhibiting in the North-South Building? Ask your GSC for current routing, since Convention Way has been closed for Grand Concourse construction.
Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.
