ConventionVendor.com rents booth displays, iPads, kiosks, and registration equipment delivered for move-in, ready for Javits electricians to install where required.
Exhibiting at Javits Center
The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center covers six blocks on Manhattan's Far West Side in Hudson Yards, along the Hudson River on 11th Avenue, a short walk from the 34 St-Hudson Yards station on the 7 train. It offers more than 850,000 square feet of exhibit space, including 500,000 contiguous square feet, plus 122 meeting rooms. The 2021 expansion added a four-level on-site truck marshaling facility, a rooftop pavilion, and a green roof with a rooftop farm.
The New York International Auto Show, New York Comic Con, and NY NOW are among its anchor shows. The biggest difference for exhibitors is the scope of in-house electrical work: Javits electricians handle not just power distribution but also installing monitors, lighting, and audio, video, and network cabling inside your booth, unless the electrical department grants an exemption. Connectivity runs on a campus-wide Wi-Fi 7 network operated in-house, and orders go through the Javits Service Portal. Trucks are booked through the venue's freight booking system, and the on-site marshaling facility feeds 74 covered loading docks.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.
Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- Javits in-house electricians handle electrical distribution and lighting, and they also install monitors, lighting, audio and video systems, and network cabling inside exhibits unless the Javits electrical department grants an exemption.
- Javits Center Technology Solutions runs a campus-wide Wi-Fi 7 network and sells Premium Wi-Fi, Booth-in-a-Box, dedicated wired internet, and custom SSIDs through the Javits Service Portal; a neutral-host cellular DAS is also in place.
- No current official Javits rule on exhibitor hotspots was found. A 2023 Javits order form published in one show's manual said the Wi-Fi exhibitor package allowed no wireless router and that connecting one required dedicated wired bandwidth, so ask Technology Solutions (technology@javitscenter.com) before bringing an access point or hotspot.
- Our displays and computers plug into the power you order, and we can deliver screens ready for Javits electricians to mount. Use a dedicated wired line for demos, and keep lead capture on iPads that can scan offline if your app allows.
Move-in and delivery
- The campus has a four-level on-site truck marshaling facility and 74 covered loading docks, and freight arrivals are booked through the venue's freight booking system.
- Move-in and move-out schedules are set per show by show management and the general service contractor.
- Allow time during move-in for Javits electricians to mount monitors and run cabling, since that work is assigned to them.
- We time delivery to your show's move-in and can be listed on an exhibitor-appointed contractor form if your show requires it.
