Exhibiting at Broward County Convention Center
The Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center sits on the Intracoastal Waterway at the north end of Port Everglades, just south of the 17th Street Causeway and a few miles from Las Olas and the beach. The original West building holds Exhibit Halls A, B, and C, with 350,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, plus the Grand, Floridian, Palm, and Sandpiper ballrooms. The East Expansion adds the waterfront Atlantic Ballroom (65,136 square feet), more meeting rooms, and a waterfront plaza, bringing the facility to just over 1.2 million square feet. The 801-room Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is the connected headquarters hotel, and a covered, air-conditioned skywalk links the parking garage.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show uses the convention center as one of its locations. Rules here are spelled out plainly: the Center provides electrical, internet, rigging, telecom, technical labor, event security staff, and food on an exclusive in-house basis, and its exhibitor rules ban personal hotspots and routers outright. Exhibit halls have 100-amp, 3-phase service every 30 feet, with water and compressed air at the columns. Freight rules are strict too, so plan carts, timing, and dock access with your general service contractor.

Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services is the building's exclusive electrical provider, and exhibit halls offer 100-amp, 3-phase service every 30 feet.
- Internet and telecom are exclusive in-house services from the BCCC Internet Technology Department, ordered in advance through its online exhibitor portal over fiber, Cat 5, or Cat 6, with network design help for LANs and VPNs between rooms and booths.
- The Exhibitor/Vendor General Rules list personal hotspots or routers as prohibited items, so do not plan on bringing your own wireless.
- Free BCCC-GUEST Wi-Fi covers pre-function space only. Order a wired line for scanners, demos, and payment terminals; our equipment plugs into Edlen power, and lead capture iPads can store scans offline if your app allows.

- Freight and packages are not accepted before your designated move-in dates, loading from the front of the building is not allowed, and there is no loading or dock access during show hours.
- The Center supplies no dollies, and carts, forklifts, and pallet jacks are not allowed in lobby, pre-function, meeting room, or ballroom space. Freight elevators serve the West side (Doors 1-2 and Door 8) and the East side (Hall B East).
- A recent CVB proposal lists 25 loading docks. Shipping and move-in schedules are set per show by show management and the general service contractor.
- We deliver rentals on your assigned move-in date and can appear on your show's exhibitor-appointed contractor form when required.
What exhibitors rent at Broward County Convention Center
- Booth Tech Kits: Lead Capture iPads, Screens, and Charging: With personal hotspots banned, a kit of iPads that capture leads offline and a laptop on a wired drop keeps your booth working.

- Registration, Check-In, and Badge Printing: Registration stations should run on wired service from the in-house IT department, since personal hotspots and routers are prohibited.
