The Venetian Expo: booth rentals and exhibitor notes
The former Sands Expo behind The Venetian Resort, with wired-only booth internet, in-house electrical, and over a million square feet across Halls A-D and G.
At a glance
At The Venetian Expo, booth electrical and internet are both exclusive in-house services, internet is sold as hardwired lines only, and you may connect your own router to a purchased line if you configure it yourself. ConventionVendor.com rents booth TVs, iPads, kiosks, and registration equipment delivered for move-in at Halls A-D and Hall G.
Exhibiting at Venetian Expo
The Venetian Expo, called the Sands Expo and Convention Center until September 2021, sits behind The Venetian Resort on Sands Avenue just east of the Strip. Its contiguous Halls A, B, C, and D total 655,600 square feet, and Hall G on Level 1 adds 380,000 square feet under a much lower ceiling. Meeting rooms and ballrooms are in the adjoining Venetian Convention Center on Levels 2 through 5, which also links the Expo to the resort and The Palazzo tower. A pedestrian bridge connects the resort with Sphere next door.
JCK Las Vegas and the AWS re:Invent expo floor run here, and the building is one of the CES venues. What sets logistics apart is how much is exclusive to the building: electrical, internet, plumbing, booth cleaning, and Encore for rigging, and those exclusives apply to anyone working inside, not only to services the venue books. Hall heights matter too: Halls A-D have 32 foot 5 inch ceilings with utilities dropped from overhead, while Hall G is 13 feet 5 inches and allows no rigging. Expect a long walk from the Strip-side hotel to the halls, and move boxes between levels by elevator, never by escalator.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.
Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- Event Service Electrical, the venue's in-house department, is the exclusive source of booth power, and electrical cables, tape, and extension cords must also come from it, so order every cord you need along with your outlet.
- Event Service Technology is the exclusive internet provider and sells hardwired service only: Shared lines for basic browsing on up to about five devices, or Dedicated lines for streaming, large transfers, or a wireless router. Wireless internet is not sold for booths.
- The venue does not prohibit exhibitor routers or access points on a purchased line (a Dedicated line is recommended), but you configure and support them yourself. We found no specific rule on cellular hotspots, so ask show management.
- You may bring your own labeled Cat5 cable, and under-carpet network runs need a floor plan and cabling diagram seven business days before move-in.
- Our displays, laptops, and charging stations plug into the outlets you order from Event Service Electrical; put demo machines on a Dedicated line, and keep lead capture iPads on an app that stores scans offline.
Move-in and delivery
- The Venetian Expo does not accept or store exhibit shipments, and only the General Contractor may unload exhibitor materials, so send freight to the GC's warehouse or show site as your kit directs.
- Halls A, B, and C each have one 20 by 50 foot loading door at the south end, Hall D has one smaller door, and Hall G has a north slider door and a southeast roll-up door. Some events use targeted freight move-in managed by the GC.
- Small parcels can go to The Venetian FedEx Office, but you carry them to the hall yourself; freight elevators connect levels and escalators are off-limits for freight.
- Show management and the GC set move-in and move-out times. We schedule delivery of your rentals to fit that window and can be named on your show's exhibitor-appointed contractor form when one is required.
What exhibitors rent at Venetian Expo
- Booth TVs, Monitors, and Video Walls: The exhibitor guide lists AV equipment rental as non-exclusive, so rented booth displays are fine here; only rigging goes through Encore.
- Booth Tech Kits: Lead Capture iPads, Screens, and Charging: Pair iPads with a Dedicated wired line for your demo station and keep lead capture running offline, since the venue sells no booth Wi-Fi.
- Touchscreen Kiosks for Booths and Shows: A freestanding touchscreen kiosk works well in Hall G, where the low ceiling and rigging ban rule out hanging screens.
- Show Wi-Fi, Hotspots, and Connectivity: Best for resort suites and off-site meetings; on the Expo floor, internet is a wired in-house service, so confirm any hotspot use with show management.
Before you exhibit at Venetian Expo
- Check whether your booth is in Halls A-D or Hall G before you design hanging signs or tall structures; Hall G has a 13 foot 5 inch ceiling and no rigging.
- Want Wi-Fi inside your booth? Buy a Dedicated line and bring a router you can configure, since the venue sells wired service only.
- Do not pack your own extension cords; the venue requires them to come from Event Service Electrical.
- Exhibitor-appointed contractors may not vacuum or run floor cleaning equipment after the initial wipe-down, because booth cleaning is a venue-exclusive service.
- Allow extra time to move people and cases from the resort side to the Expo halls.
Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.
Venetian Expo FAQ
Is there Wi-Fi for booths at the Venetian Expo?
Not as a venue product. Event Service Technology, the exclusive in-house provider, sells hardwired Shared and Dedicated lines only. You can connect your own router or access point to a purchased line, ideally a Dedicated one, but you configure and support it yourself.
Who supplies booth power at the Venetian Expo?
Event Service Electrical, the venue's in-house department, is the exclusive electrical provider. Electrical cables, tape, and extension cords must also come from it. Check your exhibitor manual for ordering deadlines.
Can I rig a sign in Hall G at the Venetian Expo?
No. Rigging is not permitted in Hall G, which has a 13 foot 5 inch ceiling. Halls A-D have much higher ceilings, and rigging labor and equipment there come exclusively from Encore.
