Mandalay Bay Convention Center: booth rentals and exhibitor notes

A 2.1 million square foot convention center inside the Mandalay Bay resort on the south Strip, with in-house internet and an exclusive electrical vendor.

At a glance

At Mandalay Bay Convention Center, booth internet and electrical are both exclusive to the resort and ordered through Mandalay Bay Exhibitor Services, and routers or other networking gear you bring can be blocked or removed without notice. ConventionVendor.com rents booth displays, iPads, and registration equipment delivered for move-in, ready to plug into the services you order there.

Exhibiting at Mandalay Bay Convention Center

Mandalay Bay Convention Center is part of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino campus at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, which also holds W Las Vegas, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and Michelob Ultra Arena. MGM describes it as a 2.1 million square foot convention center with 1 million square feet of exhibit space. Level 1 holds Bayside Exhibit Halls A through F, Level 2 has the Shoreline exhibit hall and the Oceanside and Mandalay Bay ballrooms, and the North Convention Center adds the South Pacific and Islander ballrooms.

Black Hat USA, IMEX America, SUPERZOO, and Shoptalk Spring all exhibit here. A remodel completed in 2024 added Cat6A cabling throughout, and every booth connection runs on a Mandalay Bay IP address through the resort's own network. Freight rules are stricter than at many venues: trucks cannot stage on surrounding streets, and they come to the gated docks only when dispatched from off-site marshaling. Plan on the resort's exclusive vendor for anything electrical, including powered signs and monitors installed overhead.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.

Power, internet, and Wi-Fi

  • All electrical, plumbing, gas, and compressed air come from Mandalay Bay's exclusive vendor, ordered through Mandalay Bay Exhibitor Services, and outside electricians are not allowed.
  • Mandalay Bay is the exclusive provider of all internet connections, wireless included. Only approved equipment and personal end-user devices such as laptops and phones may attach, and routers or other networking gear can be removed or blocked without notice or refund.
  • MGM's documents do not explicitly ban cellular hotspots, but at least one show held here has banned them in its own rules, so check your exhibitor manual.
  • Show attendee Wi-Fi is meant for browsing and email, so order a hardline for booth demos. Our laptops and displays connect to that line as end-user devices and plug into the power you order, and lead capture tablets can keep scanning offline when your app supports it.

Move-in and delivery

  • Bayside Halls A-D have 11 doors 15 feet wide by 24 feet high (five drive-in, six dock-height), Level 2 has four drive-in doors, and gated dock entrances sit off Russell Road and Frank Sinatra Road.
  • No truck staging or marshaling is allowed on surrounding streets; contractors marshal off-site and trucks arrive when dispatched. Personal vehicles are not allowed in dock areas.
  • Shipments of 150 pounds or less to or from the show floor go through the on-site FedEx Business Center.
  • Your show and its GSC set move-in times. We deliver your rentals inside that schedule and can be registered on an exhibitor-appointed contractor form if the show asks for one.

What exhibitors rent at Mandalay Bay Convention Center

Before you exhibit at Mandalay Bay Convention Center

  • Place exhibitor service orders at least 21 days before the first event day to meet Mandalay Bay's advance ordering deadline.
  • Leave travel routers and switches at home; unapproved networking gear can be cut off with no refund.
  • Hanging a monitor or lighted sign? Overhead powered items must be installed by the exclusive electrical vendor, and heavier or electrical hanging signs are rigged by Encore.
  • Do not drive a personal vehicle to the docks; small loads go through the FedEx Business Center or your GSC.
  • Encore is required for AV in meetings and breakouts (not general sessions), so plan breakout-room AV with Encore.

Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.
