Music City Center: booth rentals and exhibitor notes

Nashville's downtown convention center, with 353,143 square feet across Exhibit Halls A-D and in-house electrical and technology services.

At a glance

At Music City Center, the venue itself is the exclusive provider of booth electrical and technology, so power and wired internet are ordered through its services portal. ConventionVendor.com rents booth tech such as iPads, displays, and kiosks for Nashville shows, delivered to the dock for your move-in.

Exhibiting at Music City Center

Music City Center anchors downtown Nashville's SoBro (South of Broadway) area, a short walk from Lower Broadway. The building covers about 2.1 million square feet, with 353,143 square feet across Exhibit Halls A-D (room for up to 1,726 10x10 booths), ceilings of 32 feet 6 inches, and a floor load of 350 pounds per square foot. The Level 4 Grand Ballroom measures about 57,500 square feet, and the building also has 61 meeting rooms and 3 board rooms.

Since its grand opening in May 2013, the center has hosted CMA Fest: Fan Fair X during the June festival. For exhibitors, the defining detail is that electrical, utilities, and technology are all in-house exclusives, while AV is open: LMG is the preferred partner, but outside companies are allowed. Rigging is handled exclusively by Convention Production Rigging, Inc. Freight also uses a separate address, 700 Korean Veterans Boulevard, rather than the main entrance on Rep. John Lewis Way.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.

Power, internet, and Wi-Fi

  • Music City Center provides exclusive electrical and utility services, so booth power is ordered from the venue rather than an outside contractor.
  • Technology services are also exclusive to the venue. Wired connections are available over CAT6 or single-mode or multimode fiber every 30 feet, on infrastructure that supports more than 10 Gbps.
  • Free Wi-Fi covers the whole building, exhibit halls included, but it is unmanaged and shared with attendees, and the venue advises exhibitors to buy wired service instead. No ban on exhibitor hotspots was found on the current site; check your exhibitor kit for show rules.
  • An AT&T and Verizon distributed antenna system supports cellular service in the building.
  • Our gear runs off the power you order from the venue; pair a wired drop with offline-capable lead capture so a busy attendee network never stalls your demo.

Move-in and delivery

  • The building has 32 loading docks with 60,000-pound levelers, 3 drive-in ramps to the exhibit halls, and freight elevators rated at 6,000 and 12,000 pounds.
  • Deliveries go to 700 Korean Veterans Boulevard, not the Rep. John Lewis Way South street address.
  • Show management and the general service contractor set move-in dates and times; your exhibitor manual is the source for both.
  • Rental gear from us arrives in your move-in window, and if your show requires exhibitor-appointed contractor paperwork, put our name on the form.

What exhibitors rent at Music City Center

Before you exhibit at Music City Center

  • Order power and wired internet through the Music City Center services portal well before the deadline in your exhibitor kit.
  • Do not count on the free building Wi-Fi for a live demo; it is unmanaged and shared with every attendee.
  • Send hanging-sign orders to Convention Production Rigging, Inc., the exclusive rigging company.
  • Utility boxes every 30 feet in the halls carry water, compressed air, and telecom, so check where the nearest box sits relative to your booth.
  • Booking AV is flexible: LMG is the preferred in-house partner, but outside AV companies are permitted.

Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.

Music City Center FAQ

Who provides booth power and internet at Music City Center?

Music City Center provides both: it is the exclusive provider of electrical and utility services and of technology services. Order through the venue's exhibitor services before your kit's deadline. Free Wi-Fi is available but unmanaged, so buy wired service for demos.

Is there free Wi-Fi on the Music City Center show floor?

Yes, free Wi-Fi covers the whole facility, including exhibit halls, but it is unmanaged and shared with attendees. The venue recommends that exhibitors purchase wired internet. Lead capture that stores scans offline is a good backup.

What is the delivery address for Music City Center?

Deliveries go to 700 Korean Veterans Boulevard, the building's dock address. Most exhibit freight should still go through your show's general service contractor, so follow the shipping instructions in your exhibitor manual.
