Exhibiting at Los Angeles Convention Center
The Los Angeles Convention Center is a city-owned, two-building complex in the L.A. Live district, where West Hall (opened 1971) and South Hall (expanded 1993) connect through the Concourse. Five exhibit halls, South, West, Kentia, Concourse and Petree, total 720,000 square feet, alongside 64 column-free meeting rooms. The site sits at the 110 and 10 freeway junction next to Crypto.com Arena, and Metro's Pico Station is about an 8-minute walk away.
Anime Expo fills the halls over the Fourth of July weekend, and the LA Auto Show takes over in November. A major expansion broke ground in fall 2025, and Pico Boulevard between Figueroa Street and LA Live Way is closed around the clock from December 4, 2025 through March 31, 2028, which changes how trucks and attendees reach the building. Trade press reports the project will add contiguous exhibit space bridging South and West Halls, with substantial completion targeted for spring 2028. Until then, plan routes with the venue's current getting-here guidance.

Facts checked October 15, 2026 against the sources listed below. Schedules and providers can change from show to show; your exhibitor manual has the final word.
Power, internet, and Wi-Fi
- Electrical is not a single-vendor exclusive, but shows must use one of the LACC's approved contractors: Edlen Electrical, GES Electrical or Freeman Electrical. Your exhibitor kit names the one assigned to your show.
- Boldyn Networks is the exclusive provider of internet, telecom, network cabling and cable TV for exhibit halls, meeting rooms and all contracted space. Older show documents may still name Smart City Networks, the previous provider.
- We found no published LACC rule against exhibitor hotspots, though booth internet, wired or wireless, must be ordered from Boldyn and your show may restrict wireless gear. Check the exhibitor manual first.
- Free Wi-Fi in lobbies and public spaces runs at basic shared speeds. Order a wired line or paid Wi-Fi for demos and lead retrieval; our equipment connects to it and plugs into the power you order from the electrical contractor.
Move-in and delivery
- South Halls G, H, J and K use the South Dock's 34 raised truck bays, while West Halls A and B share a 9-bay West Dock that takes lift-gate trucks only. Concourse and Petree Halls have no assigned docks, just ground-level loading areas.
- LACC security controls dock access, dock passes are required, and the venue does not rent forklifts; contractors bring their own.
- Your show's management and general service contractor publish move-in and move-out schedules, and construction traffic may shift truck routes until the Pico Boulevard closure ends.
- We schedule rental delivery for your move-in window with the construction detours in mind. If the show asks exhibitors to register outside vendors on an exhibitor-appointed contractor form, include ConventionVendor.com.
What exhibitors rent at Los Angeles Convention Center
- Booth TVs, Monitors, and Video Walls: Large displays for auto and entertainment show booths plug into the outlet you order from your show's approved electrical contractor.
- Booth Tech Kits: Lead Capture iPads, Screens, and Charging: Lead capture iPads with offline mode keep working when shared public Wi-Fi is too slow, and pair well with a Boldyn wired line.
- Touchscreen Kiosks for Booths and Shows: Touchscreen kiosks let busy booths at shows like Anime Expo offer self-serve product information.
Before you exhibit at Los Angeles Convention Center
- Order booth internet and phone lines from Boldyn Networks, not a third-party IT vendor.
- Exhibiting in West Hall? Tell your carrier the West Dock accepts lift-gate trucks only.
- Build extra travel time into move-in days while Pico Boulevard stays closed between Figueroa and LA Live Way.
- Check your exhibitor kit to see whether Edlen, GES or Freeman handles power for your show before you place the order.
- Overhead signs in the exhibit halls need an LACC authorized rigging contractor; Encore's production rigging exclusive applies only in Concourse and Petree Halls.
Schedules, deadlines, and service providers can change from show to show. Always confirm details in your show's exhibitor manual. Our exhibitor timeline lists what to order and when.
